If you’re planning a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, between early February and early April, you may want to bring along some Mardi Gras beads and be prepared to check out some music. The theme park has announced the lineup of its 2018 Mardi Gras concert series, which will include performances by Bush, Fitz and the Tantrums and 311.
311 performs on Saturday, March 3, Fitz takes the stage Sunday, March 11, and Bush will rock out Sunday, March 25. A total of 13 headlining shows will be held at Universal Orlando’s Music Plaza during the Mardi Gras celebration.
The New Orleans-inspired festivities kick off February 3 with a performance by Jamaican rapper/singer Sean Paul and run through April 7. Other artists scheduled to perform include The Beach Boys, Foreigner, country singer Kelsea Ballerini, rapper Macklemore, and pop group Fifth Harmony.
While the concerts will take place only on select Saturdays and Sundays during that time, the park will have a parade every night including street performers, colorful costumes and, of course, lots of beads.
